In 2017, partnered with my husband, Mike, we opened Salon 131. Our goal is to provide a quality experience for our clients, with a staff of extremely talented stylists. We work hard to give everyone an excellent experience. We will place you with the right stylist that fits your personality, style, and current need(s). We strive to make our clients to feel at home by providing some of the best professional hair care products, tools and customer satisfaction.
Fun fact: We have a combination of 113 years of experience and over 40,000 hrs of continuous training between all of our stylist. How amazing! We promise to take great care of you and all your hair needs.

I have been intrigued with hair since I was a little girl, even at 3 to 4 years old I was very particular with my hairstyle that my mother would do. I can remember standing in the doorway watching my dad meticulously groom himself and how fascinated I was with the time and effort and amazing results.
There was a little girl from Laos in my Girl Scout troop, she would come with her hair fixed in braids, buns, and other styles, she instantly became my best friend. She taught me so many tricks with hair at such a young age. My infatuation with hair only grew over the next 40 years and continues today. Hair is my passion and I enjoy making everyone feel beautiful, everyone needs to feel beautiful.
I have been a stylist for over 25 years and through those years I have participated in extensive training. Those trainings include classes and seminars with Paul Mitchell, Redken, Pulp Riot and Clairol’s advanced master classes. Other trainings include Toni & Guy Advanced training in pixie cuts, pivot point cutting, razoring and long hair cutting. I am a certified extensionist with SheHairbySOCAP, also certified with Aquage for creating specialty styles for those special events.

I have been a hairstylist for over 20 years, new to the area since 2019 from Illinois and look forward to meeting new people and building relationships with my clients.
I love foiling highlights, lowlights, babylights, color, women’s haircuts and styling, men’s haircuts & beard trims, children haircuts.
Making people feel and look good whether it is a fresh haircut or a brand new look is always satisfying knowing you’ve made them happy and given them what they want is always the goal.

I worked at one of the top salons in the Charlotte area for over 8 years and won Best Young Artist award 2 years in a row, worked Charlottes first ever Charlotte Fashion Week event in 2010, worked on-set at multiple uptown Charlotte fashion shows between 2007-2015. Educated by some of AVEDA’s top artistic directors from 2007-2015.
I am certified to do hair extension services through HOT HEADS. I am certified to do Keratin treatments through Keratherapy. I most enjoy doing the full service - offering both color and cut. I also do perms. Will go offsite for hair services for wedding and special events.
